The people who build it are the people who run it
Managed Cloud is not outsourced to a third party with a support script. The team that writes Stockovaa is the team that looks after the businesses running it, which is the only arrangement where a fix and an answer come from the same place.
Stockovaa has been built for retailers in Africa for eight years. Point of sale, inventory, accounting and HR in one platform, for businesses that were being offered either a spreadsheet or an enterprise system priced for a multinational.
A number of those customers bought a lifetime licence and ran the software themselves. That worked, and for some of them it still does. But running software well is a job, and it is not the job any of them went into business to do. Updates get deferred, a backup routine quietly stops running, a certificate lapses on a Saturday, and nobody notices until a customer is standing at the counter.
Managed Cloud exists for those customers. You keep the licence you bought. We take on the running of it, and we answer the phone when something is wrong.

These are not values on a wall. Each one costs us something, which is how you can tell we mean them.
You can always leave
Full data export whenever you want it, including after you stop the service, and your lifetime licence is untouched either way. Making it difficult to leave is a business model we would rather not need.
We would rather say no
We only take on customers we can genuinely look after. If Managed Cloud is not right for your business we will tell you on the first call rather than after the invoice.
We tell you what happened
When something goes wrong you get a plain account of it: what broke, what we changed, and what stops it recurring. No jargon and no quietly moving on.
Being straight with you
What we are not
Every managed service claims to do everything. Here is where ours stops, so you are not finding out later.
- We are not a general IT provider. We look after Stockovaa and the service around it, not your printers, your network or your laptops
- We do not sell domains. Register yours anywhere you like and we will connect it
- We do not promise that nothing will ever go wrong. We promise to watch for it, to tell you, and to fix it
- We do not run a self-serve sign-up. Every account is set up by a person, and that means we cannot take on everybody at once
