Branding and white label

It should look like your business, because it is

Your staff open this software more often than they open anything else. Managed Cloud customers get the fullest level of branding control we offer, across the screens your team uses and the documents your customers keep.

In short

  • Logo and icons
  • Your palette
  • Documents and email
  • Fullest level
What the service does

White label branding

Your logo, your colours and your business details on the screens your staff use every day and on the invoices and receipts your customers take away.

Your colours, checked for legibility

Set a primary and an accent colour. The picker measures contrast as you choose and refuses combinations that would leave your own staff squinting at unreadable text.

Logos and app icons

Horizontal lockup, stacked lockup, and the mark on its own, plus the favicon and the icon staff see when they add it to a phone home screen.

The sign-in screen

The first thing your team sees every morning carries your name and your logo, not a generic product page.

Invoices and receipts

The documents your customers walk out with, and the ones they file, carry your branding and your business details.

Email your customers receive

Automated email sent from your account is branded as yours, so a payment reminder does not look like it came from a stranger.

Set up by us, changed by you

We apply it during handover so it is right from day one. After that the controls are in your portal and changes take effect without waiting on anybody.

In scope

What you can change

Every surface a member of staff or a customer actually looks at.

  • Primary and accent colour, with a live contrast check on every combination
  • Horizontal, stacked and mark-only logo lockups
  • Favicon and the app icons used when the system is added to a phone
  • The sign-in screen your staff see every morning
  • Invoice, receipt and statement headers
  • The header on automated email sent from your account
  • Your business name, address and registration details on documents
How it works

The contrast rule, and why we refuse some palettes

This is the one place we will say no to a request, and it is worth explaining why.

  1. Every combination is measured

When you pick a colour, the contrast between your text and its background is calculated against the accessibility standard, not eyeballed.

  2. Failing combinations are refused

If a pairing falls below the readable threshold for text, the picker will not save it. A brand colour that looks wonderful on a poster can be genuinely unreadable on a screen in a bright shop.

  3. We help you find one that works

There is almost always a shade of your brand colour that passes. If yours does not, tell us and we will work out a palette that stays recognisably yours and is still readable at the till.

The point of it

What your team never has to do

  • Email us a logo and wait a week for it to appear
  • Explain to a customer why the receipt has another company's name on it
  • Guess whether a colour is readable for the member of staff with poor vision
  • Maintain two sets of branding because the software would not take yours
Questions

Asked and answered

If yours is not here, ask us directly. We would rather have the conversation than have you guess.

Included, and at the fullest level we offer. Lifetime customers on Managed Cloud get everything our top plan gets plus the managed service itself.

Because the text on it would fail the readability standard. It is a genuine constraint rather than a preference, and there is almost always a nearby shade that passes. Ask us and we will find it with you.

The screens your staff and customers see carry your identity. Tell us where you need our name absent and we will confirm exactly what is possible for your account.

You do, from the branding page in your portal. We set it up during handover so it is right from the first day, but you are not dependent on us to change it later.
